This was Noah's first Halloween. As tradition we went to my brother Phillip's house and had dinner and trick or treating in the neighborhood. The kids had a great time and Ethan was very happy to be with his cousin Amy!
Our very own Pumpkin!!!! Last year after carving our pumpkins we planted the seeds in the backyard. Little did I know that pumpkins need to be planted in the spring/summer for full sun and heat to grow.......my bad. Well winter came and nothing happened. I actually forgot about the seeds that were planted. When summer rolled around weeds started to grow, well I thought they were weeds, but they were not weeds they were PUMPKINS. With excitement I ran to tell the kids we were growing pumpkins. As fall came only one pumpkin actually developed probably due to the location of the seeds as well as them being planted during the wrong season.
This was so much fun. Thanks to my MOMS group at Sea Coast Grace Church I learned to make these adorable blankets. We made baby blankets as a service project to give to a local shelter that takes in pregnant moms, and helps them get on their feet. The blankets were so cute I wanted to make some for my kiddos. That day I took the kids to the store to each pick out their own fabric. Ethan and Kara really enjoyed picking out what they wanted, and Ethan got to pick the fabric for Noah so he was really happy! Each blanket took about one hour to make and Ethan helped with all of them.
Noah got his first solid food on Oct. 19th. I think he really enjoyed it. He also just loves sitting up in the high chair......just like a big boy. ; )
Sunday September 12 Noah tuened five months. He has been a little fussy these past few days, and as he was gnawing my hand I felt something sharp........could it be???? I looked in his mouth and sure enough, Noah has his first bottom tooth. Oh, my baby is growing so fast.
